Is it democracy? Part 11.

On Sunday, September 22, 2013 were the next parliamentary elections in Germany. Results are as follows: CDU/CSU-41,5%, SPD-25,7%, The left-8,6%, Green-8,4%. All the worlds media are trumpeting about another victory Angela Merkel and her party. Lets see what is here the victory? Who is here and that there won? Merkel received 41,5% and teaming up whith someone else to get 50%+ again become chancellor of the next 4 year. Other politicians and their constituents will be the losers. Please note, the rest got 59,5% (100%-41,5%=59,5%). Another exemple of a zero-sum game that the whole crowd calls liberal democracy. Get more take-all. Is it time to change it? Is not it time to understand that democracy is goverment of the people rather than those who got more  and took in those who got less. In democracy everyone should govern and those who received more and those who got less. Democracy should be a common cause of the whole nation.

Liberal/National Coalition--53%, Australian Labor Party--47%. Tony Abbott received 53% votes and appropriated 47% votes of Kevin Rudd. Elections in Australia, 7 September 2013 showed once again what a zero-sum game, as applied to democracy. When the one who got the most votes takes the votes of the one who received the least votes. This is the same as if the person who made more money would took away money the one who got a little bit smaller. And call it democracy! This is a pseudo-democracy. This is a dictatorship of the majority. It is time to realise this and change this unjust system. Is not it?
